Stanley Orchart 1920 – 2005

Stanley Orchart was born in North London and grew up in Bedford, he later studied art at Leeds School Of Art, he became a full time artist in 1959. He painted mainly in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, he was in demand for his commissions and Her Majesty the Queen Mother was a major patron of his work.
