David Talks

David is an award winning artist who has been lucky enough to paint widely in the UK, France, Italy and The Far East.

He has exhibited in a wide range of galleries, including the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, Royal Society of Marine Artists, and with Thompson’s Galleries, London and Aldeburgh, together with Mandell’s Gallery, Norwich. Recent exhibitions featuring his paintings in 2022 have included the Norfolk Show and two at Great Yarmouth and another in Wells Next the Sea in the Maltings in October 2022.

He loves France and speaks French fluently, so from 1998 – 2008 he held annual one man shows at the Galeries Lespinasse in Rouen, France.

He is a past President of the Rugby and District Art Society, a former Chairman and President of the Norfolk Art Circle and a past member of the Coventry and Warwickshire Society of Artists, a keen member of a number of artist groups including the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists and the Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle.

David lives in Norwich Norfolk UK and combines his love of painting with his other passions of walking nature and fine wine.
